History on WVU’s Side in Matchup vs. UCF

West Virginia will host UCF on Saturday in their last home game of the season.

Coming off a bye week, UCF is 4-6 (2-5 in conference play) this season. WVU is 5-5 (4-3 in conference play) after a home loss to Baylor last week.

The two programs have had three matchups all-time: one last year, during UCF’s first season in the Big 12, and two in back-to-back years (2003, 2004). The Mountaineers won all of them, outscoring the Knights 122-68.

The first matchup was in Morgantown in 2003, where WVU came away with a 36-18 win. The following season, in Orlando, West Virginia won 45-20.

The Mountaineers took home a convincing 41-28 victory in Orlando last year.

Kickoff on Saturday is set for 3:30 p.m. EST, with the game being televised on ESPNU.
