WVU senior tight end Kole Taylor spoke about the team’s mindset following the loss at home to Baylor.
The 2024 season is winding down for the Mountaineers, who have a 5-5 record going into their last two games. They hope to pick up another win to clinch bowl eligibility.
This past Saturday, the Mountaineers took a crushing 49-35 loss at home to Baylor. The 2024 season has been full of highs and lows and, quite frankly, a relatively disappointing season for a team that came in with high expectations.
“Just look forward to the two opportunities guaranteed,” Taylor said on Monday.
The Mountaineers must look past their loss to Baylor and focus on this weekend’s game against the UCF Knights.
WVU has had plenty go wrong this season, with multiple games coming down to the wire.
“I don’t regret anything; I don’t live with regrets; you never know what would happen if something else happened,” Taylor said.
The Mountaineers will host the UCF Knights on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST. They are looking to pick up their sixth win of the season and clinch a bowl game to finish the season.
