The West Virginia women’s basketball team has been dominant in the beginning of the 2024-2025 season.
They were ranked No. 16 in the preseason, No. 15 in the first AP Poll, and have now moved up to No. 13. This is the highest the program has been ranked since 2018-2019.
The Mountaineers are 4-0 this season, including wins over rival Pitt and SEC opponent Texas A&M. They have beaten every opponent by 20 or more points. Their scoring margin is 40.5. They are also third in the country in forced turnovers per game.
They’ll host Bowling Green on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET in their next contest.
