Four senior Mountaineers football players were invited to participate in the 100th annual East-West Shrine Bowl.
The Shrine Bowl is an opportunity for college football seniors across the country to showcase their talent in front of all 32 NFL teams and on national TV. The game is taking place in AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, on Jan. 30th, 2025.
Mountaineers offensive tackle Wyatt Milum, defensive back Garnett Hollis, long snapper Austin Brinkman, and defensive lineman Sean Martin were the four selected to represent West Virginia. Last year, WVU’s Devin Carter and Doug Nester participated in the Shrine Bowl.
In the past, the Shrine Bowl has featured players like Tom Brady, Walter Payton, and John Elway.
The Shrine Bowl works to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children. The goal is to provide more advanced care for children with orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate.
