After shining in place of starter Garrett Greene on Saturday, WVU quarterback Nicco Marchiol earned Big 12 Team of the Week honors.
Two other Mountaineers joined Marchiol on the team, in freshman linebacker Josiah Trotter and senior cornerback Dontez Fagan. Fagan tallied six tackles, including two solo tackles on Saturday, while Trotter finished with four tackles.
The Mountaineers will take a bye week after their close call in Tucson this weekend. They return to the field in Cincinnati on Nov. 9 at noon.
