Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports named Neal Brown as the Head Coach of the Week in the Big 12.
Matt Zenitz is a national college football reporter for CBS Sports and 247Sports. He has a weekly post on Twitter in which he names the best coaches in each conference in the country.
This was the first time Neal Brown has been given Matt Zenitz’s Head Coach of the Week for the Big 12 so far this season.
Brown was given the nod for the Big 12 in Week 9 after the team’s road win in Arizona. Brown and the Mountaineers were able to go on the road and beat Arizona 31-26 without their starting quarterback, Garrett Greene and starting left tackle, Wyatt Milum, as well as other injuries on defense.
