The first transfer portal window does not open until Dec. 9, but Bowers plans to enter it when it does. He hasn’t seen any game action in 2024.
Bowers is from Coal City, West Virginia and attended Independence High School. He was a three-time first-team All-State selection and the 2022 AA State Champion.
The 5-foot-11 DB/ATH will have four years of remaining eligibility.
