Week seven of the NFL season has officially wrapped up, lets take a look at some former Mountaineers around the league.
Beanie Bishop
Steelers cornerback made history Sunday night against the New York Jets. Beanie Bishop recorded his first two career interceptions, becoming only the fifth player in NFL history to intercept future hall-of-famer Aaron Rodgers twice in the same game to go along with six tackles and two passes defended. Beanie Bishop helped lead the Steelers to a big 37-15 on Sunday Night Football. The Steelers will host the New York Giants on Monday night football next week at 8:25 pm EST.
Dante Stills
Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman recorded one solo tackle and one sack in Monday night’s 17-15 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Stills recorded his second sack of the season and fifth of his career. The Arizona Cardinals will host the Miami Dolphins, looking to get their record back to the .500 mark, next Sunday at 1:00 pm EST.
Kyzir White
Arizona Cardinals linebacker Kyzir White was all over the field on Monday night, recording ten total tackles, three of which were solo. White’s efforts helped lead the Cardinals to a 17-15 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night football. The Cardinals will take on the Miami Dolphins at 1 p.m. EST next Sunday.
David Long Jr
Miami Dolphins linebacker David Long Jr recorded four total tackles in Sunday’s 16-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The Miami Dolphins now sit at 2-4 with a tough schedule. Miami will look to get back in the win column next Sunday when they travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals.
Colton McKivitiz
In week seven, the San Francisco 49ers suffered a brutal loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, with multiple key players leaving with injuries. The 49ers have dealt with injuries all year. They will look to bounce back against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night football at 8:20 p.m. EST.
Geno Smith
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith was stellar in the team’s blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons. Smith completed 18 of his 28 pass attempts for 207 yards and two touchdowns, which was good for a 110.3 passer rating. The Seattle Seahawks will host the Buffalo Bills next Sunday at 4:25 p.m. EST.
Rasul Douglas
Buffalo Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas recorded one pass defended in Buffalo’s 34-10 blowout win at home over the Tennessee Titans. The Bills, at 5-2, sit comfortably atop the AFC East with a tough road matchup next Sunday in Seattle against the Seahawks.
Zach Frazier
Steelers center Zach Frazier was ruled out ahead of Sunday night’s matchup with the Jets with an ankle injury. Coach Mike Tomlin originally said he would be week-to-week, but earlier last week said he should return after the team’s bye week in week nine.
