West Virginia hosts No.17-ranked and Big 12 opponent Kansas State in a week eight matchup.
The Wildcats are 5-1 (2-1 in conference) and have won back-to-back games after losing to former unranked BYU.
Parking lots open at 7 a.m. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. EST, with gates opening 90 minutes before at 6 p.m.
As always, the Mountaineer Mantrip will occur two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff (approximately 5:15). Following the mantrip, fans can join in the wave to the top of the WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital.
Almost Heaven Village, located between the light blue and teal parking lots, offers many activities and will open at 5 p.m.. West Virginia native Phillip Bowen will perform in the WVU Football Homecoming Kickoff Concert. Bowen and his band will take the stage at 5:30 p.m. and perform until 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Kids Zone will be at the Caperton Indoor Practice as usual. It will be open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
To help ensure safety for all in attendance, WVU has a clear bag policy and has added metal detectors to all its major athletic venues.
Travelers coming from the southern part of the state may have their route impacted by Bridge Day. A travel advisory map is available here.
All concession stands and parking lots are cashless.
The PRT will run from 9:30 a.m. until one hour after the game at no cost.
