West Virginia quarterback Garrett Greene was ruled out for the remainder of West Virginia’s game vs. No. 17 Kansas State during halftime.
It is believed to be an upper-body injury for Greene. The Mountaineers currently trail Kansas State 17-10.
Greene completed nine passes on 19 attempts for 85 yards and a touchdown. He also threw two interceptions but was the Mountaineers’ leading rusher with 88 yards.
Nicco Marchiol is likely to replace Greene.
