On Thursday, the West Virginia Mountaineers’ offensive line unit was announced to have made the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll.
The Joe Moore Award is given to the best offensive line unit in the country annually. WVU was one of 22 teams to make the midseason honor roll, one of three in the Big 12.
Coached by Matt Moore, the Mountaineers offensive line helped the offense rush for nearly 400 yards in their recent win over Oklahoma State. Standout left tackle Wyatt Milum has consistently graded out as not only the best at his position, but offensive lineman overall.
The semifinalists for the award will be selected on Nov. 12, and the finalists on Dec. 3. The winning unit will be greeted with a surprise visit at their campus, where they will be presented with the award and it will be made public.
