According to multiple reports, the NCAA Division I committee voted to shorten the spring and winter transfer windows.
The window will shorten from 45 days to 30 days. The winter window will shift from 30 days to 20 days, and the spring window will shift from 15 days to 10 days.
The window to enter the portal is believed to be from Dec. 9-28 and April 16-25. If a player intends to transfer, they have to enter the portal during the allotted windows but do not have to commit to a school before it closes.
