According to college basketball insider Jon Rothstein’s source, West Virginia will travel to take on Kansas in their first conference matchup of 2024-2025.
The game will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve. Last season, the Mountaineers snapped a six-game losing streak against Kansas with a 91-85 upset when the Jayhawks were ranked No. 3.
The Big 12 will be releasing a full conference schedule for men’s basketball on Thursday. This upcoming season will be West Virginia’s first under new head coach Darian DeVries.
