With Week 3 of the NFL season officially over, let’s take a look at the performances of some former Mountaineers.
Beanie Bishop
The Steelers pulled out another win in Week 3 at home over the Los Angeles Chargers, improving their record on the season to 3-0. Former Mountaineers defensive back Beanie Bishop recorded two tackles, one of which was solo. The Steelers will look to continue their winning streak next week in Indianapolis as they take on the Colts at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Dante Stills
After the Cardinals got off to a low start, former Mountaineers defensive tackle David Stills made an impact in Week 3 for Arizona. Stills recorded his first sack of the season as well as two solo tackles while playing 44% of the defensive snaps in a 20-13 loss to the Detroit Lions. The Cardinals will look to bounce back Sunday at home against the Washington Commanders at 4:05 p.m.
Kyzir White
Arizona Cardinals linebacker Kyzir White was quiet in the Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions recording only one solo tackle. The Cardinals will look to bounce back Sunday at home against the Washington Commanders at 4:05 pm.
David Long Jr.
Miami Dolphins linebacker David Long Jr. recorded two solo tackles in a 24-3 loss on the road in Seattle. The Dolphins’ record slips to 1-2 on the season. They will look to get back in the win column Monday night at home against the Tennessee Titans at 7:30 p.m.
Geno Smith
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith struggled in Week 3, completing 26 passes on 34 attempts for 289 yards and a touchdown, along with two interceptions. Smith’s day was highlighted by a 71-yard touchdown pass to DK Metcalf. The Seahawks won handily at home against the Miami Dolphins, 24-3. Next week, they will travel to take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football.
Rasul Douglas
Buffalo Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas recorded three total with one solo and a pass defended in Buffalo’s 47-10 Week 3 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Buffalo Bills will look to improve their undefeated record to 4-0 on Sunday Night Football on the road in Baltimore as they take on the Ravens at 8:20 pm Sunday night.
Zach Frazier
Rookie center Zach Frazier continues to shine for the Pittsburgh Steelers. While improving their record to 3-0 on the season, Zach Frazier has continued to play at a Pro Bowl level through the first three weeks. Frazier, who has yet to allow pressure, has been a staple on the Steelers’ offensive line. Pittsburgh will look to continue their strong start Sunday at 1 p.m. on the road against the Indianapolis Colts.
