West Virginia quarterback Garrett Greene was named one of eight Manning Award “Stars of the Week” for his recent performance against Kansas.
Greene helped the Mountaineers to a comeback 32-28 win over Kansas in their first conference matchup of the season. On the day, he had 295 yards two touchdowns on 15 completions in the air, 87 rushing yards, and a touchdown on the ground.
In the fourth quarter alone, Greene completed seven passes on 11 attempts for 87 passing yards and rushed for 33 more yards, helping the Mountaineer rally back from an 11-point deficit. Individuals can vote for the overall Manning Quarterback of the Week here.
