What Massey Ratings Projects for WVU in Remainder of 2024

Massey Ratings, a computer rating system developed by American statistician Kenneth Massey, projects West Virginia to have an interesting path in their remaining games this fall.

The Mountaineers lost their season opener to Penn State 34-12 and the ratings have since been adjusted based on observed results. Massey Ratings projects WVU to finish 6-6 (4-5 in Big 12), all by one-score games, besides UAlbany. The following will show the projected scores and win probability for West Virginia’s remaining games.
