WVU lineman Sullivan Weidman is dedicating every kick the kicking unit makes throughout the season to help support 10-year-old West Virginia native Paisleigh Scruggs.
Paisleigh is from Hamlin, West Virginia and was diagnosed in June 2024 with stage two anaplastic large-cell lymphoma. Weidman has started a pledge campaign with a fundraising platform called ChampsRaise. The platform offers a way for fans to be able to pledge money to “Help Paisley Kick Cancer” for every made kick this season.
Weidman is a redshirt sophomore, who played in eight games last season, adding depth at guard.
