For the first time in program history, WVU Men’s Soccer is the number one ranked team in the country. It is the highest ranking for the program after they set the mark last season at number 2 after knocking off undefeated and number 1 Marshall a season ago.
After a 3-0 start to the season, the Mountaineers have jumped from number 4 to number one, grabbing all but one first place vote (Clemson with the other). The team will be back in action as the number one team in the country on Friday at California Baptist University at 10:00 p.m. ET.
