According to his agent, former West Virginia tackle Doug Nester has been signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad.
Nester went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft but signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an UDFA. He did not make Minnesota’s initial 53-man roster and was cut.
Now, Nester joins former Mountaineer teammates Beanie Bishop Jr. and Zach Frazier, who made the Steelers’ initial 53-man roster, in Pittsburgh.
