After a hat trick performance against Purdue Fort Wayne, WVU Men’s Soccer graduate student Sergio Ors Navarro was named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
Ors Navarro scored three times in four shots on goal on Thursday. The Mountaineers took down Purdue Fort Wayne 4-2 in the season opener, largely propelled by the forward’s efforts.
West Virginia will see the field once again at home on Monday against Saint Francis. The game is set to start at 7 p.m. at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown.
