Former Mountaineer and second round draft pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Zach Frazier will be the starting center week one for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The battle for the starting job was beginning to heat up after an impressive preseason showing by the West Virginia native. However, news broke Saturday evening that Nate Herbig, the current starting center for the Steelers, will miss an “extended period of time,” making Frazier the week one starter.
The Steelers will travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons week one on Sunday, Sept. 8. The game can be viewed on Fox.
