Friday the Cleveland Browns announced they signed former West Virginia long snapper Rex Sunahara to their active roster.
Sunahara played for the Mountaineers from 2016-2019 after beginning his collegiate career at Rhode Island. He went undrafted in 2020, but signed with the Miami Dolphins. He spent time on their practice squad as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad.
Sunahara last played for the San Antonio Brahmas of the UFL before being signed by Cleveland. He appeared in the Browns first preseason game and now is an official member of their roster. He will wear No. 50.
