Head coach Neal Brown met with members of the media Monday afternoon on the heels of a weekend full of scrimmaging. The Mountaineers are a little over two weeks away from kicking off the 2024-2025 football season, and with that, Neal Brown gave a quick overview of where the team stands with injuries as we approach mid-August.

Asani Redwood (defensive line): was previously limited in the first few weeks of camp, has returned to full participation this past weekend.

Jacolby Spells (cornerback): not tackling yet, still limited in practice, does participate in a variety of team drills.

Trey Lathan (linebacker): full participation following one week of limited practice, Lathan has recovered from his season-ending injury versus TCU last fall.
