Former Mountaineer suffers ACL injury

Former West Virginia Mountaineer turned Houston Cougar Tony Mathis has suffered a preseason injury earlier in the month per Twitter/X.

Tony Mathis Jr, took to his instagram to announce that he tore his ACL during fall camp.

Mathis will now be out for the season for the Houston Cougars as they begin their second season in the current Big 12 conference.
