WVU’s alumni basketball team will be reviving a college rivalry on Monday.
Best Virginia, comprising primarily of WVU alumni, moved onto the second round at The Basketball Tournament’s Pittsburgh Regional on Saturday, dominating Brotherly Love 94-69. Now, it will move onto play Pitt’s alumni team, Zoo Crew, on Monday night.
TBT games will reach TV screens nationwide in the coming weeks through channels like FS1, the Big Ten Network, and FOX, but the alumni’s Backyard Brawl will not make any of those channels. Nevertheless, streaming is available for those unable to travel to Pittsburgh Monday night..
