5-Star Point Guard Includes WVU in Top 5

Destiny Jackson, a women’s basketball recruit from Chicago, ranked as the No. 24 overall recruit in the class of 2025 by ESPN has included West Virginia in her top-five.

Jackson, a 5-foot-6 guard plays for Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, where she averaged 16.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.4 steals per game last season. Jackson will also be playing in the Overtime Select League, a four-week league held in the OTE Arena in Atlanta for ‘elite’ high school girls basketball players aged 14-18.

Jackson also has Arizona, Baylor, Illinois and UNC in her top-five.
