The 2024 MLB Draft takes place Sunday night in Fort Worth, Texas; with West Virginia’s JJ Wetherholt to be one of the top first round draft picks.
Ahead of the draft, Wetherholt appeared on ESPN;s Baseball Tonight, where he gave a brief pre-draft interview. When asked about West Virginia, Wetherholt said “They were my only offer. I committed just before my sophomore year, so it was a little early… but to be honest, I thought it was a perfect fit and I was right. It was pretty much the best decision I’ve made in my life and I had a great career there.”
The 2024 MLB Draft takes place at 7pm ET on ESPN.
