From what we know the day before the game’s official release, the Mountaineers rank below six teams within the Big 12 Conference.
With College Football 25’s release imminent, content creator EricRayweather released a video with every team’s uniform sets. Included in that video are some sneak peaks at potential team ratings, including West Virginia’s.
The Mountaineers come in at an 82 overall in College Football 25, with the offense being rated at an 82 and the defense at a 76 overall. It should be noted that the ratings are from an earlier build of the game, so the rating may be different when the game is officially released.
The Mountaineers are currently ranked behind Utah, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, and Colorado within the Big 12 Conference. Not all ratings for the conference have been released, however. The only team we know that West Virginia ranks ahead of in the Big 12 is BYU, coming in at an 80 overall.
West Virginia also has one player rated in the game’s Top 100 players, with left tackle Wyatt Milum being given a 90 overall rating.
College Football 25 releases with early access on Monday, July 15th at 4 p.m. EST. For those who did not order the Deluxe edition of the game, it will release on Friday, July 19th.
