There is more arm talent coming to Morgantown for next baseball season. The Mountaineers have added RHP, Tyler Hutson. The 6-foot-3 pitcher transfers to WVU from the University of Southern Indiana.
During his 2024 campaign, Hutson compiled a 4.40 ERA with 54 K’s in 47.0 IP. He also has served as both a starting pitcher, making 14 starts in his career, and a reliever with nine career saves.
Hutson will bring plenty of experience to the 2025 season with his career stats of 132.2 career innings pitched, tallying up 132 strikeouts and a .277 batting average against.
