Former Mountaineer forward Devin Williams has returned to the Best Virginia TBT team for another year, as announced on social media earlier this afternoon.
Williams played for the Mountaineers in three seasons from 2013 to 2016. In those seasons, he averaged 11.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. He was also named to the All-Big 12 team during his junior season.
Since forgoing his last year of college eligibility by declaring for the NBA draft, Williams has played professionally around the world. Most recently, Williams signed with the Taiwan Beer Leopards of the T1 league in October of 2023. He led the league in rebounds for the 2023-24 season.
Best Virginia’s first game of the TBT tournament will be on July 20th in Pittsburgh, as the 3-seeded WVU alumni team will take on 6-seeded Brotherly Love, based out of Philadelphia.
