The highly anticipated Big 12 preseason poll by the media has been released and WVU is picked to finish 7 for the upcoming 2024 season.
The top five teams all received at least one first place vote while Neal Brown’s team did not. The ranking comes after a 9-4 season by the Mountaineers and a return of many key pieces such as Garrett Greene and Jahiem White.
Last season, ’14’ was coined by the team after being picked to finish last place in the conference. The team used that motivation to propel themselves to end the season in fourth place of the conference.
