With team ratings being released just over two weeks before the release of EA Sports’ College Football 25, player rating can be expected to be released soon.
On X, EA released a statement about using PFF to grade and rate the players in their game. With that, WVU fans have something to hold onto as Garrett Greene was one of the nation’s highest graded QBs according to PFF.
Some gamers are even going as far as using analytics and PFF to break down 2023 season performances by QBs and creating potential rankings.
The Mountaineers failed to make the top 25 rated offenses in the country in the video game and fell behind teams such as UCF and Virginia Tech. The rankings had some fans in an outrage with Colorado also being in the top 10 rated teams.
EA has stated the initial rating are all subject to change depending on a player’s or team’s performance throughout the year. Regardless of WVU’s ratings, fans will finally get to play as the Mountaineers on the sticks once again.
The game is set to release on July 19.
