WVU starting quarterback Garrett Greene, has officially graced the cover of two sports magazines, Athlon Sports and Lindy’s sports magazine.
While receiving a lot of hype from different media outlets during the offseason, Greene has been left off of a majority of the Big 12 Conference preseason honors, some of which go as deep as fourth-team recognition.
Last season, the QB led the Mountaineers to a surprising and program building 9-4 record where he compiled 2,406 passing yards, 16 touchdowns through the air, and only four interceptions. He also added 772 yards rushing on 6.4 yards per carry with 13 rushing touchdowns.
The Mountaineers will open the season at home looking for revenge against Penn State after falling on the road to open up the season last year. Greene went 16-27 passing with 162 yards passing and 71 yards rushing.
