Brodie McWhorter Begins Recruitment For His Cousin

The four-star Class of 2026 quarterback said that he had put the recruiting cap on, and he’s already getting to work.

Earlier today, four-star Class of 2026 offensive lineman Bear McWhorter announced his intention to de-commit from the University of Arkansas, reopening his recruitment window.

Brodie, Bear’s cousin, posted on X in support of his cousin, saying “I just know you’ll make the right decision”. However, with his cousin’s recruitment open once again, Brodie has begun his pitch for his cousin to join him in Morgantown. The quarterback encouraged fans to let his cousin “know where home is” earlier this evening.

Bear McWhorter, 6-foot-3.5, 293 pounds, already has 28 offers to consider including one from West Virginia. Notable schools that offered Bear include Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Mississippi State, NC State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCF, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin.
