West Virginia’s women’s basketball Big 12 opponents for this upcoming season were announced earlier this morning.
The Mountaineers will take on all fifteen other members of the Big 12 in 18 games of conference play. They will play at home against BYU, Utah, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, and UCF. They will travel away to Arizona, Arizona State, Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor, and Houston.
There are three teams that the Mountaineers will play at home and on the road, with those being Colorado, Cincinnati, and Oklahoma State.
Looking at their in conference schedule, West Virginia will play five teams who finished in the Top 25 at the end of the previous season. These include #13 Baylor, #15 Colorado, #19 Kansas State, #22 Utah, and #25 Iowa State. The Mountaineers finished last season ranked at #24.
