After not hearing his name called during the NBA Draft, Jalen Bridges signed a two-way contract with the Phoenix Suns Thursday night.
The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 12.2 points and 5.7 rebounds in his second and final season at Baylor. He set a season high in points with 32 against Texas in March. Bridges also earned 2024 All-Big 12 Third Team honors after his senior season. During his time with the Mountaineers, Bridges averaged 7.3 points and 4.2 rebounds across 61 games.
In Bridges draft prospect page on NBA.com, he was projected as a second round pick. It was also mentioned in his projection that “The skillset is there, though it might take him some time to refine it and reach his potential”. With Bridges going undrafted, he got to choose amongst multiple offers as to where to begin his professional basketball career.
