The Mountaineers’ 2025 recruitment class has grown again, this time with three-star edge Michael Hastie.
Georgia’s 10th ranked edge rusher announced his commitment on Instagram on Monday. Hastie is now WVU’s second edge in its 2025 recruitment class.
Hastie stands at 6-foot-2 and is 220 pounds. As a junior, Hastie tallied 80 solo tackles as part of a total 122 tackles in 13 games for Douglas County High School. He also picked up minutes on offense, rushing for 550 yards and five touchdowns in 59 carries.
WVU now has 19 recruits in the class of 2025, putting the Mountaineers in 18th on 247 Sports’ team recruitment rankings. They are also ranked 19th for the class by Rivals.
