Football Lands Commitment from Class of 2025 Three-Star Safety

West Virginia received a commitment earlier this morning on social media from Sammy Etienne, a three-star class of 2025 safety.

Etienne, 5-foot-11 175 pounds, decided to join the Mountaineers after an official visit on June 7th. The decision came among ten other offers from Division I schools, including Colorado, Kansas State, and Liberty. The safety visited only one other school during his recruitment process, Kansas State, which he toured this past weekend.

Etienne played for Auburndale High School and Lakeland High School while being recruited, both schools in Florida. He is ranked as the #100 safety in the class of 2025.
