Four-year Mountaineer center Zach Frazier has officially moved on to his new team.
After being selected 51st overall in the second round on April 26 by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Zach Frazier finally put ink to paper this week, the team announced Monday.
With 47 starts for the Mountaineers, including 37 at center, Frazier has secured his own legacy in Morgantown. Now, in the NFL, Frazier looks to build on Pittsburgh’s franchise legacy, marked by a strong offensive line.
“I just know how much the offensive line means to the Pittsburgh Steelers,” Frazier said. “They’re getting a hard worker who is going to give everything he has to the organization to win football games. I couldn’t be more excited.”
Frazier’s minicamp with the Steelers wraps up Thursday after three successful days. He was joined by WVU teammate Beanie Bishop Jr. in that camp and throughout the offseason.
The Steelers will begin preseason games on Aug. 9 at home against the Houston Texans.
