WVU Baseball adds shortstop Chase Swain for 2024-2025

Chase Swain, an All-Conference First Team selection in two different conferences, is taking his talents to Morgantown this season, per Wesley Shoemaker of WVSports.

The rising junior comes to WVU from Manhattan College, where he tallied 60 hits and 28 runs with five homers and 41 RBIs. He finished the year with a .392 batting average, a .575 slugging percentage, and 15 steals on 16 attempts.

Swain earned First Team All-MAAC Honors with Manhattan, pairing with his All-United East First Team selection from his freshman season with Penn State Abington.
