Sunday night the NCAA announced the 16 regional hosts for the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Not surprising, but West Virginia will not be hosting a regional this season.
The 16 regional hosts for this season’s NCAA Tournament are as follows:
-Tuscon, AZ – Arizona
-Tallahassee, FL – Florida State
-Stillwater, OK – Oklahoma State
-Santa Barbara, CA – University of California, Santa Barbara
-Raleigh, NC – NC State
-Norman, OK – University of Oklahoma
-Lexington, KY – University of Kentucky
-Knoxville, TN – University of Tennessee
-Greenville, NC – East Carolina University
-Fayetteville, AR – University of Arkansas
-Corvallis, OR – Oregon State
-Clemson, SC – Clemson University
-Charlottesville, VA – University of Virginia
-Chapel Hill, NC – University of North Carolina
-Bryan-College Station, TX – Texas A&M
-Athens, GA – University of Georgia
The SEC plays host for five of the regional rounds, with the ACC having four hosts and the Big 12 having two. Out of the 16 regional hosts, West Virginia only faced off against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in Big 12 play this season.
Seeding for the NCAA Tournament is announced Monday, May 27 at noon ET.
