Following his breakout redshirt freshman season in 2023, West Virginia wideout Hudson Clement comes into 2024 as the sixth highest-graded receiver returning in the Big 12.
Clement was one of the top feel-good stories last season after walking on to WVU, before earning a scholarship after a three-touchdown performance vs. Duquesne in the Mountaineers’ week two win. He had five catches for 177 yards against the Dukes.
Clement continued to make his mark, having big plays in big spots, including five catches for 89 yards in West Virginia’s bowl win over UNC. Originally from Martinsburg, West Virginia, the program released a short documentary on Clement titled “Huddy Tuddy: The Hudson Clement Walk-On Story“.
Heading into 2024, there is high hopes for the 6-foot-1 receiver, as he grades out as one of the top returning receivers in the Big 12. Clement’s younger brother, Murphy, also signed to West Virginia as a walk-on in the class of 2024.
