6’7″ small forward Mason Blackwood may be on his way to Morgantown, the high school junior announced Sunday.
Mason Blackwood, a three-star recruit and the fourth best class of 2025 prospect from New Hampshire according to 247 Sports, announced he received an offer from West Virginia on Sunday on his X account.
The announcement came in the same weekend as Blackwood’s appearance in Nike Elite Youth Basketball League’s third session in Indianapolis. Blackwood averaged 13.5 points per game on the weekend for the City Rocks, who went 7-3 overall.
Blackwood has also received offers from Marquette, Northwestern, and George Mason among others. He plays high school basketball at New Hampton School in New Hampshire.
