Eduardo Andre officially signs with West Virginia

On Friday, West Virginia men’s basketball head coach Darian DeVries announced the signing of Fresno State transfer Eduardo Andre.

Andre, 6-foot-11 center, from London, England, spent the past two seasons at Fresno State after beginning his career at Nebraska. This past season he averaged 7.3 points, five rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, shooting 60.4% from the field.

“Eduardo is a big addition to our program,” DeVries said. “He will give us terrific rim protection on the defensive end. Offensively, he will bolster our frontcourt. He really runs well and fits in great with our transition game.”

Andre, a fifth-year senior, helps bolster the Mountaineers roster as the only true center after losing Jesse edwards due to eligibility.
