Former Mountaineer Mohamed Wague back in transfer portal

Former Mountaineer Mohamed Wague, who previously transferred to Alabama, is back in the transfer portal.

Wague spent one season at WVU, before hitting the portal last summer after the resignation of former head coach Bob Huggins. Wague began his career at Harcum College, before he came to WVU.

At Alabama, Wague played in 33 games, starting eight of them. He averaged 3.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.5 blocks per game, while playing in 8.3 minutes per game. At WVU, Wague averaged 10.6 minutes per game, scoring 4.1 points, grabbing 3.1 rebounds, and blocking 0.5 shots per game.

Wague, who is 6-foot-10, is originally from the Bronx, New York, and has one year of eligibility remaining.
