We are halfway through the month of April and things are starting to ramp up in the Big 12 for baseball.
In the latest D1 Baseball rankings, the Big 12 is represented by Oklahoma State at 15th and West Virginia at 22nd.
As of games through April 15, 10 out of the 13 teams have a winning record, with Baylor, BYU, and Houston being the only teams with losing records.

Baylor (16-18, 8-7, Big 12)
Last Tuesday, Baylor was slated to have a single road game against No. 15 Dallas Baptist, but that game was canceled due to weather.
This past weekend, Baylor played a three-game road series against BYU. They swept the series 9-2, 8-5 in 10 innings, and 18-17.
Up next for Baylor is a single road game against UT Arlington later today. After that is a three-game home series against Kansas starting on Friday.
BYU (14-18, 6-12 Big 12)
Last Tuesday, BYU won a single road game against Utah 7-3. BYU used six different pitchers but still pulled out the victory in this one.
This past weekend, BYU hosted a three-game series against Baylor. They got swept 9-2, 8-5 in 10 innings, and 18-17.
Up next for BYU is a single home game against Utah Tech later today. After that is a three-game home series against Oklahoma starting on Thursday.
Cincinnati (20-16, 7-8 Big 12)
Last Tuesday, Cincinnati won the Joe Nuxhall Classic against Xavier 5-2. Cincinnati started out 5-0 then held off Xavier for the win.
This past weekend, Cincinnati played a three-game road series against No. 21 Oklahoma State. They got swept 8-4 in 10 innings, 12-5, and 10-6.

Houston (17-18, 5-13 Big 12)
Last Tuesday, Houston lost a single road game against Sam Houston 8-5. Houston hit multiple home runs in a game for the fourth consecutive time, but it wasn’t enough to get the win in this one.
This past weekend, Houston hosted a three-game series against Texas. They lost the series 2-1, winning 9-1 then losing 6-5 and 13-8.

Kansas (19-14, 7-8 Big 12)
Last Tuesday, Kansas won a single home game against No. 23 Nebraska 13-11. Kansas recorded 14 hits in the shootout win.
This past weekend, Kansas hosted a three-game series against Pacific. They swept the series 18-7, 12-3, and 19-3 in seven innings.

Kansas State (21-13, 7-8 Big 12)
