Former Mountaineer Josiah Harris Transfers to Akron

Former Mountaineer Josiah Harris is transferring to Akron.

Harris, who entered the transfer portal last week, is committing to Akron, according to multiple reports.

Harris played two years at WVU, and graduated in that time. Harris averaged 5.0 points, and 4.1 rebounds per game, appearing in 32 games and starting 13 for WVU this past season. Harris was a recruit under Bob Huggins and he is the third Mountaineer to hit the portal since Darian DeVries took over as head coach.

Harris joins former teammates Seth Wilson and James Okonkwo at Akron.

Harris is originally from Canton, Ohio, which is nearby to Akron, Ohio.
