Two weeks before the NFL Draft, West Virginia cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. and center Zach Frazier will meet with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bishop and Frazier are two of Pittsburgh’s three pre-draft visitors on Friday, with the third being Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean. Pittsburgh has seven picks in this year’s draft, including two third-round picks, a fourth-rounder, and two sixth-round picks.
Frazier, currently ranked third among interior offensive line prospects in 2024 by CBS Sports, is projected to go in the mid-to-late rounds on draft weekend. A West Virginia native, Frazier would likely feel right at home on Pittsburgh’s offensive line if the Steelers were to select him.
Bishop Jr. shined recently on Big 12 Pro Day and has slowly moved his draft stock up. As of now, he is in the running for a late-round draft selection. Pittsburgh would have to reach slightly for Bishop if the team likes what it sees in his interview.
The 2024 NFL Draft begins Thursday, April 25 and will continue through Saturday, April 27 in Detroit.
