WVU’s Pat Suemnick Enters Transfer Portal

West Virginia forward Pat Suemnick announced he is entering the transfer portal.

Suemnick has spent his last two seasons in Morgantown, playing under Bob Huggins and Josh Eilert. Suemnick was thrust into a larger role due to injuries this season, averaging 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in 21 games.

He had four games where he scored 10 points or more this season, including 20 points and six rebounds against Kansas in WVU’s upset win.

“It has been an honor to suit up in the blue and gold for the past two years. I will cherish the memories and relationships I’ve built forever,” Suemnick said in a statement on social media.

Suemnick is the fourth Mountaineer to enter the transfer portal, joining Kerr Kriisa, Josiah Harris, and Seth Wilson.
