Tucker DeVries transferring to West Virignia is official, the school announced on Monday.
After his father Darian was introduced as head coach last Thursday, he announced his son, Tucker, would be joining him.
“Obviously, we’re excited to have Tucker join our program,” coach DeVries said. “He has a tremendous skill set and his experience will be invaluable to us. We are grateful that he has chosen to play for us for his senior season.”
Tucker averaged 21.6 points per game this season, and was the only NCAA Division I men’s basketball player to average at least 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
DeVries is back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, and is listed at 6-foot-7, 210 pounds.
